Nigerians In T£ars As Police rearrest Speed Darlington following return to Nigeria

Controversial rapper Speed Darlington has been rearrested by the Nigerian police in Owerri, Imo state, according to his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju. This arrest comes after his return to Nigeria from the United States.Speed

Speed Darlington had previously been arrested and released after making comments about singer Burna Boy. Following his release, he moved back to the US, where he made more statements about Burna Boy and retracted his initial apology.

The police picked him up while he was performing at a show in Owerri. Deji Adeyanju announced the arrest on social media, stating, “BREAKING: Our client Speed Darlington a.k.a AKPI has been arrested by the Nigerian police in Owerri at his show upon return to Nigeria” .
