Jude Okoye, former label boss of Cynthia Morgan, has stirred renewed reactions online after officially handing over her music catalogue, but not directly to her.
Instead, he gave the catalogue to media personality and activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), who has since addressed the situation in a new video.
In the video, VDM revealed that Jude Okoye willingly released the full catalogue and clarified long-standing misconceptions about his fallout with Cynthia. Jude stated that, contrary to public belief, he never blocked Cynthia from using her stage name. According to him, she decided to rebrand herself as “Madrina” on her own.
VDM further appealed to Cynthia Morgan to issue a public apology to Jude, though he emphasised that her apology is not a condition for receiving the catalogue. He confirmed that whether or not she apologises, the catalogue will be handed over to her
