Superstar Afrobeats artist Davido has become a trending topic online after clashing with a die-hard fan of fellow singer Wizkid.
Known for his active presence on social media, the “Unavailable” hitmaker didn’t hold back in responding to a mocking tweet aimed at him.
The exchange began on X (formerly Twitter), where the Wizkid fan taunted Davido over his lack of a Grammy Award and his frequent display of private jets. The post quickly gained attention, prompting Davido to fire back with a harsh reply, calling the user an “absolute bastard.”
While some celebrities choose to ignore online jabs, Davido is known for directly confronting critics, especially when it comes to fan wars between him and Wizkid’s supporters. It all started on X, when the Wizkid fan identified as “YARLOOOOOOOOOOO” refers to Davido as a local celebrity from Edo State and further tagged the singer his little bro.
The Wizkid fan fan tweeted; “You are local celeb from Ede little bro.”
Davido swiftly responded by attacking the Wizkid fan’s paternal figure and even added a clip of him inside a private jet. He wrote, “U wey ur papa dey suffer 😂.”
