Adekunle Temitope, known professionally as Small Doctor, is a Nigerian singer. A devastating fire destroyed his home, and he lost everything.
A widely circulated video shows flames destroying the singer’s belongings worth millions of naira. People can be seen in the video working hard to preserve what’s left of the utterly wrecked house.
Small Doctor confirmed the fire on Instagram and thanked God for his life and safety.
In his post, the Afro-pop musician regarded the loss of property as a harbinger of bigger things to come.
“No pressure for the Lord is with me,” he wrote, adding “that no life was lost”. “Ile Alaafin to jo, ewa lo bu kun, that is to say king house wey burn na make beautification fit plenty,” the post reads in part.
