A video of Don Jazzy at Reekado Banks’ album listening party has stirred mixed reactions. The event was held on July 6th, 2025, ahead of the album release titled “The Game Needs You.”
Reekado, now involved in real estate and the restaurant business recently spoke in an interview that caused a stir online. He criticized an unnamed music executive for exploiting young talents.
Though no names were mentioned, many assumed he was referring to Don Jazzy or Paulo Okoye. This made Don Jazzy’s appearance at the event more noticeable, with fans questioning his body language and true intentions.
He said; “There is one big man in the music industry who is demonic and taking advantage of young talents. I have worked with him before. Other young artists have also worked with him. I would not want to muddle, you know, put his name through the mud, although the person knows himself.
“But I would like to educate people about the man because, according to everything that I have come to find out, everybody that he has worked with always encounters certain setbacks or finds themselves in a mess.”
However, despite the alleged call out by Reekado Banks, Don Jazzy and his talents at Mavin Records label including Ladipoe, Bayanni, and others, were present.
