Veteran Nollywood actor Afeez Oyetoro, popularly known as Saka, has opened up about a personal experience from his past involving a woman he once planned to marry.
In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Saka revealed that during his bachelor’s days, he approached a lady to settle down. However, the woman made a firm demand that caught him off guard. She told him that unless he owned two cars, she would not agree to marry him.
While he did not disclose what became of the relationship, the actor’s story highlights the material expectations often placed on men before marriage, especially during periods of financial instability.
Saka also addressed a common misconception about his involvement with the telecom brand Etisalat. Contrary to public belief, he clarified that he was never a brand ambassador for the company. Despite featuring prominently in their advertisements and gaining widespread recognition for his role, he was simply hired as an actor, not a contracted ambassador.
Known for his unique style and contributions to both stage and screen, Afeez Oyetoro’s reflections offered a rare glimpse into the lesser-known moments of his life and career.

“The one that I was supposed to marry was demanding that I must have two cars. A lot of people thought I was an ambassador to Etisalat. No. I didn’t have any formal or official arrangement. I am just a model…”
