A video of popular Nigerian singers Asake and Rema sitting next to each other at the 16th Headies Award has surfaced online and by extension sparked overwhelming reactions online.
The 16th Headies Award was held yesterday, September 3rd 2023 at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
However, it is cool to say the future of Afrobeats is in safe hands as Asake, Rema among other artistes win big at the Headies Award.
While Asake who recently shutdown the 20k capacity O2 Arena won the Next Rated award and Album of the year award, Rema also won African Artiste of the Year and Digital Artiste of the Year.
Even though fans are well-known for comparing Asake and Rema based on who is bigger at the moment, it was, on the contrary, this time around as Asake and Rema beam with so much joy as they sat next to each other.
Asake and Rema show that positive energy exists between them as they laugh so hard with each other with Ghanaian singer Black Sheriff sitting next to them.
