“This is unfair” – Nigerians react as Police opened fire at peaceful protesters during Mohbad candlelight procession, many injured (Video)

 

Videos making the rounds online show that many recently feared dead as Lagos police opened fire to disperse peaceful protesters at Mohbad’s candlelight procession in Lekki, Lagos.

The Justice for Mohbad took a progressive step yesterday September 21st, 2023 as the candlelight procession procession and tribute concert started at 5PM at Lekki Phase 1 Gate and end Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island.

It was a massive turnout by Nigerians as celebrities that include Davido, Zlatan Ibile,Abu Abel, Kiekie, Do2dtun, Eniola Badmus, Falz among other Nigerians came out for Mohbad.

Moment later, the Lagos State Police once again disappointed many Nigeria as they fired tear gas at the massive crowd undergoing peaceful work for the late Mohbad.

This later caused a commotion as Nigerian youths had to took to their heels on the streets of Lekki running for their lives, a situation that generated a stampede.

While many were seriously injured, others lost their phones in the protest. Some further claimed that the policemen also fired gunshots at the peaceful protested.
