A fresh wave of drama has hit social media as a video surfaced showing activist and influencer VeryDarkMan (VDM) in the studio recording a diss track aimed at controversial singer Portable.
This clash comes on the heels of VDM’s viral Instagram video on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, where he stirred national controversy by stating that many Nigerians would have preferred President Bola Tinubu to die instead of former President Muhammadu Buhari. VDM blamed the current administration for worsening economic hardship and rising insecurity, suggesting Tinubu had missed the opportunity to leave a legacy by failing to prioritize national safety.
In response, Portable publicly condemned VDM’s comments, describing them as insensitive and disrespectful. He accused the activist of using a national tragedy to create division and insisted that the late president deserved peace and respect in death.
The back-and-forth quickly escalated. In retaliation, VDM resurfaced an old video allegedly showing Portable being accused of stealing a tricycle, commonly known as “keke.” The move triggered Portable, who swiftly hit the studio to release a diss track aimed at VDM.
Now, a new clip shows VDM himself in a studio, recording a diss track titled “Portable Omolalomi Ole”, continuing the heated exchange between the two.
