Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, professionally known as Portable, has become a police ambassador, a development that has sparked mixed reactions online.
The “Zazoo Zeh” hitmaker took to his verified Instagram page today, May 22nd, 2024, to announce his new role just days after his arrest. On May 14th, 2024, Portable made headlines when he allegedly jumped a gate to escape police officers who came to arrest him over an unpaid debt for his G-Wagon. Despite his efforts, the police used their expertise to track and eventually arrest him. Another video surfaced showing Portable being bundled by police officers as they tried to get him into their car.
Subsequently, Portable was rearrested for assaulting a police officer, as disclosed in another clip that surfaced online.
In his latest Instagram post, Portable emphasized the importance of government after God. He was seen posing with police officers in their office, proudly revealing his new role as a police ambassador, despite his recent legal troubles.
Portable wrote; “ZAzuu federal government libeliability 🔌 Ọmọ ijoba Police Ambassador i do music 🎶 for living ….
