Popular Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage recently surprised her son, Jamil, with a brand-new iPhone in celebration of his 10th birthday.
In a heartwarming video making the rounds online, Jamil could be seen joyfully unboxing the phone, checking out its features, and visibly excited by the gift. The singer, who is now 45 years old, shared that her only child had been requesting an iPhone since his 9th birthday in 2024.
True to her word, Tiwa Savage fulfilled the promise this year. However, the superstar mom didn’t hand over the phone without setting firm rules.
She made it clear that Jamil is not allowed to use any social media apps, and he agreed to the condition.
Sharing the heartwarming moment via the insta-stories section of her official Instagram page, Tiwa Savage accompanied it with the caption;
“Gosh, he has been asking for an iPhone since his 9th birthday, no social media though.”
