Popular Nigerian singer 2Baba recently took to Instagram to announce the end of his 13-year marriage to actress Annie Idibia. The “African Queen” crooner revealed that the couple had been separated for some time and are currently filing for divorce.
However, fashion icon and media personality Toke Makinwa has called out 2Baba for his public announcement, stating that it was wrong and insensitive. Makinwa expressed her support for Annie Idibia, saying that she and other women in the entertainment industry will stand by her.
Makinwa wrote on Instagram: “This is wrong on all levels, and you should be ashamed of yourself for bringing this here. Bring it on, if you think she’s alone, let me tell you, you’ll have to fight all of us.”
