A male student from the Mass Communication department at the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) was rescued from an attempted suicide on campus. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred on Monday evening, February 3, 2025, when passers-by spotted a rope around the student’s neck in a nearby bush.
The student was quickly rushed to the institution’s medical center for urgent attention. This incident comes on the heels of another student from the same department committing suicide at his residence in Ilorin.
