Nigerian singer Davido has sparked online reactions after calling out his cousin, Dele Adeleke, for planning to contest against their uncle, Ademola Adeleke, in the Osun Gubernatorial election.
In the post shared on the microblogging platform, Davido said it amazes him that his cousin, who struggled to graduate with second class lower in the university, is parading himself as an intellectual personality.
Davido added his cousin, who has not succeeded in building anything for himself want to be governor of Osun state calling the citizens to beware.
Wonderful! Me I finished with a 2:1, but it’s now cousin dele who struggled to even get a 2:2 that is now forming intellectual. Intellectual that has not succeeded in building one single thing in his life of his own. This life ehn! Osun beware of fakes!
Davido’s tweet sparked mixed reactions online. While some questioned what his uncle Ademola Adeleke has achieved, others urged him to allow the contestants to run their race.

Georgina Onuoha has slammed Davido’s uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke and friends, on being clueless about what politics entails.
This comes after veteran journalist Dele Momodu took to his Instagram page to share a video of Ademola Adeleke and his friends.
According to Dele Momodu, Ademola Adeleke and his political associate, including friends, worshipped God at his home in Abuja after the governorship screening exercise.

Reacting to this, Georgina Onuoha expressed displeasure over the video stating that Ademola Adeleke and his friends do not know how to alleviate the pain and suffering of the masses.
Georgina Onuoha added that Ademola Adeleke and his friends are only thinking of their stomach and power acquisition, noting that politics should not be a job anymore but means to serve where people can still keep their regular jobs.
