Popular Nigerian comedian Warri Pikin has revealed why she will not attend the upcoming wedding of Davido and Chioma, despite receiving an invitation.
The wedding of singer Davido and Chioma Avril Rowland, set for Tuesday, September 25th, 2024, has been a hot topic online under the hashtag #Chivido2024. This highly anticipated event, often referred to as the “gathering of billionaires,” will be held at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites.
In a new video shared on her verified Instagram page today, June 24th, 2024, Warri Pikin disclosed that Davido offered to personally deliver the wedding invitation to her, but she declined.
Explaining her reason, Warri Pikin stated that she is currently in Abuja preparing for her upcoming comedy show and is closely monitoring the situation there.
Despite her absence, Warri Pikin issued a stern warning to those attending the wedding, emphasizing the importance of delivering quality content from the event. She created a #Chivido24 to-do list for attendees to follow.
Firstly, Warri Pikin urged attendees, including bloggers, to use the hashtag #Chivido24 in all their photos and videos. She also emphasized the need to post clean, high-quality content.
Additionally, she advised attendees to charge their phones and bring power banks to ensure they can capture enough content throughout the event. She stressed the importance of taking photos and videos from various angles to provide better highlights, citing Ubi Franklin and Noble Igwe as examples of individuals who excel in this area.
Warri Pikin concluded the video by congratulating Davido and Chioma, expressing her regrets for not being able to attend, and encouraging everyone to enjoy the wedding.
