Nigerian music sensation Wizkid is celebrating a major milestone as his latest album “Morayo” continues to break records on streaming platforms. Released on November 22nd, 2024, the album has amassed an impressive 48 million streams in just six days.Wizkid

This achievement has not only solidified Wizkid’s position as a leading African artist but also broken the record for the most streamed album by an African artist on Spotify in its first week. The album’s 16 tracks have resonated with fans worldwide, occupying the top 16 spots on Apple Music NG’s Top Songs Charts.

Wizkid “Morayo” has also surpassed the previous record held by South African artist Tyla, who achieved 46.4 million streams in a week. The Nigerian superstar took to social media to express his excitement, declaring “Morayo” the “biggest album” ever in Africa. He also hinted at an upcoming tour and a homecoming show in Lagos in December.
