Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, recently responded to rapper Vector after being mentioned in Vector’s new song. In a video, Portable expressed his displeasure with Vector, who he claims sees himself as a pioneer in the Nigerian music industry.
Portable, known for his hit “Zazoo Zeh,” stated that he does not consider Vector a pioneer, but rather sees God as his only pioneer.
Portable acknowledged that he respects Vector as a mentor and superstar but felt disrespected by the rapper’s lyrics. He boldly claimed that he is currently a bigger artist than Vector, arguing that Vector cannot draw the same crowd he does. Portable asserted that Vector has not achieved the same level of success as he has.
Further criticizing Vector, Portable described him as a rapper searching for a chorus to achieve success. He suggested that Vector should seek him out for a verse to elevate his music. This reaction from Portable follows Vector’s lyrics in his song, where he mentioned “Lion king no be zazoo,” a reference that seemed to slight Portable.
