A middle-aged Nigerian man, who is acclaimed as a finance manager, has sparked reactions online with his recent assertion in a video.
In the circulating clip, the finance manager states that a man is fit and ready to get married to a woman if he comfortably earns up to N50,000 monthly.
According to him, in the current economy, a man earning N50,000 monthly is well-suited for marriage. He suggests that a good wife or woman will assist him in managing his money and reduce frivolous spending. The finance manager emphasizes that waiting until a man has plenty of money is not guaranteed, and the best approach is to get married earlier.
Backing up his point, he argues that even if a man earns N1 million monthly but lacks financial management skills, it still may not be enough. He advises that a man earning N50,000 monthly should marry a woman who understands, loves him, and is ready to grow with him.
Drawing from real-life experiences, the finance manager shares examples of individuals who started with modest incomes and achieved significant success over the years. He concludes by cautioning against marrying someone solely based on their current financial standing, as this could be a red flag, and instead, emphasizes the importance of recognizing a person’s potential.
