Nigerian singer and songwriter Bella Shmurda, also known as Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, is honoring his late friend, Mohbad, through two upcoming music projects.
Bella Shmurda, recognized for his compelling lyrics, has revealed his plans for upcoming releases: an EP titled “Road to September 12” and an album set to be launched on September 12. This significant date commemorates the one-year anniversary of Mohbad’s passing.
The late Mohbad, a rising star in the Nigerian music scene, left an indelible mark on friends and fans, particularly his close friend Bella Shmurda. In tribute, Bella dedicated two remarkable music projects to him, expressing his feelings through the ‘Dagbana’ crooner’s recent music show in London.
The music projects, ‘Road to September 12 (EP & Album),’ narrate the journey of Mohbad leading up to his untimely demise.
