Nigerian singer Ruger jokingly asked Wizkid to let him inherit his loyal fanbase, Wizkid FC, if he decides to retire from music.Singer The singer praised Wizkid FC’s loyalty, citing their support as the reason for Wizkid’s new song “Dance” topping the Apple Music and Spotify charts.

Ruger’s request came after his own song “Toma Toma” struggled to reach number 13 on Apple Music. Despite this, Ruger thanked Wizkid FC for their love and acknowledged his biggest first-day stream since rising to prominence.

On social media, Ruger wrote: “@wizkidayo, if you ever decide not to do music again… pls write my name RUGER as the person to inherit your fanbase.”

This lighthearted exchange highlights the friendly competition and mutual respect between Nigerian music artists.
