It is with a heavy heart that we report the passing of Rosemary Oromoni, the mother of the late Dowen College student, Sylvester Oromoni Jr. Her demise comes two years after the devastating loss of her 12-year-old son, who was at the center of a highly publicized case involving allegations of mistreatment at his school.
Mrs. Oromoni’s health had been in decline for some time, largely due to the overwhelming grief and emotional toll of losing her child. The trauma and heartbreak she suffered since 2021 had taken a significant impact on her well-being, ultimately leading to her prolonged illness.
