Davido’s aide, Lati, who made headlines a few days ago for punching an overzealous fan of the singer, has taken responsibility for his actions by compensating the fan with a sum of N200,000.
In the incident that occurred at an event, the fan had attempted to get close to Davido to take a picture. However, Lati, also known as Davido’s right-hand man, reacted by delivering a forceful punch to the fan’s face, causing a swift displacement.
The video of the incident went viral on social media, leading to widespread criticism of Lati for assaulting the seemingly harmless fan. In response to the backlash, Lati acknowledged his mistake, reached out to the fan through a burner account, apologized, and proceeded to compensate him with the sum of N200,000.
