The recent video of popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, also known as Bobrisky, at the courtroom after being arraigned by the EFCC has generated significant discussion online.
In the trending video, Bobrisky appeared noticeably different, lacking the prominent bosom cavity and buttocks that were typically associated with his appearance.
Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos has reserved judgment on Bobrisky until April 9. Bobrisky had previously pleaded guilty to four charges related to Naira abuse, while the court dismissed the fifth and sixth charges related to money laundering.
The video of Bobrisky wearing a veil while standing in court has sparked numerous reactions online. Despite Bobrisky’s history of undergoing surgeries to enhance his breasts and buttocks, these features were not visible in the courtroom clip.
This development has prompted discussions about Bobrisky’s appearance and the procedures he has undergone, as well as broader conversations about identity and self-expression.
Reacting to this, a medical doctor identified as drpenking on X wrote; “So Bobrisky buttocks and breast didn’t follow her to court? 😳.”
