Bafana Bafana of South Africa bows out to Nigeria’s Super Eagles as the Super Eagles advance to the finals of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will be facing Ivory Coast in the AFCON finals on Sunday, February 11, following their victory over South Africa via penalties in the semi-finals.

In a farewell post on social media, Bafana Bafana acknowledged Nigeria for their outstanding performance in reaching the finals of the competition.

They also expressed gratitude to the citizens of their country for their unwavering support throughout the tournament.

Their words: “Well done to Nigeria 🇳🇬 for making it to the final of AFCON 2023 South Africa 🇿🇦  Thank you so much for your unwavering support for @BafanaBafana throughout this tournament.”
